Anti-Abuse Policy

The Euro-Global Journal of Linguistics and Language Education (EGJLLE, ISSN: 3030-1394) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing abuse of the scholarly publishing process. This policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the journal's operations.

Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality using CrossRef Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate). Manuscripts found to contain plagiarised content, fabricated or falsified data, or any other form of research misconduct will be immediately rejected. If misconduct is discovered after publication, the journal will follow COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines for retraction.

Duplicate and Redundant Submission

Authors must confirm that their manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal. Submitting the same or substantially similar work to multiple journals simultaneously constitutes a violation of publication ethics and will result in rejection.

Authorship and Ghostwriting

All individuals listed as authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research. The practice of ghostwriting or guest authorship is not permitted. Authors are required to declare individual contributions upon submission.

Manipulation of the Peer Review Process

Any attempt to manipulate the peer review process — including suggesting fabricated reviewers, submitting reviews under false identities, or colluding with reviewers — will result in immediate rejection and may lead to a ban from future submissions.

Fraudulent Submissions and Paper Mill Activity

The journal actively monitors for coordinated fraudulent submissions, including paper mill activity, AI-generated manuscripts submitted without disclosure, and submissions using disposable email addresses or falsified author credentials. Suspicious submissions will be investigated and reported in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Citation Manipulation

Authors must not include unnecessary or irrelevant self-citations or citations intended solely to inflate the metrics of a particular journal, author, or institution.

Reporting Concerns

Any concerns regarding potential misconduct or abuse should be reported to the Editor-in-Chief at editor@egarp.lt. All reports will be handled confidentially and investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines.
