Protection of Cultural Heritage and Its Economic Benefit

Cultural heritage plays a vital role in shaping national identity and fostering community cohesion. Beyond its intrinsic value, cultural heritage has significant economic implications, especially in sectors such as tourism, education, and local craftsmanship. This study examines the relationship between the protection of cultural heritage and its economic benefits, using comparative analysis and case studies from multiple countries. The findings reveal that investment in cultural heritage preservation correlates with increased economic returns, particularly through sustainable tourism and job creation. Policy recommendations are provided to integrate heritage preservation into broader economic planning.
